Strut and get sexy! On Thursday, FLO — the British R&B trio made of Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer — dropped the music video for “Walk Like This,” their first single of 2024, which hears the girls stepping into sultriness with no fear.

“The Walk Like This music video reflects us as three powerful women celebrating our relationships and having fun together which is what it’s all about!” the trio said in a press release. “It’s a lot of fun, directed by women, created by women, and we hope it’s loved by everyone!”

The Sahra Zadat-directed video sees the trio strutting in an empty cement parking lot, posing by classic cars and lockers, and dancing to choreography as they sing the track’s catchy lyrics. The end of the visual zooms in on the group’s name written on a car window, and seemingly teases a new song that plays from inside.

“I’m a cowgirl how I’m ridin’ it,” sings Downer in the second verse. “‘Cause me and this— go good together.” Later in the pre-chorus, Douglas adds, “The way that he squeezes and touches it, oh (No), oh (No)/If he keeps this up I might need crutches, like.”

The group said in a press release that they hope the track makes their listeners “feel confident and a bit naughty” and that it adds “that extra sway to their walk.”

“It was the end of 2023 and we wanted to create something sexy, still fun and upbeat and for the certified lover girl in us all,” FLO said. “The song is about that energy you have when you embrace your sensuality and womanhood. It’s okay to admit a man’s doing well from time to time!”

The new single marks their first release since their song bundle 3 of Us, which featured songs “Control Freak” and “Suite Life” with Bellah. Last year, they also released “Fly Girl” with Missy Elliott and joined Stormzy for “Hide & Seek.”

Rolling Stone named the trio one of the Future 25 last year. The group is working on its debut album.

“We’re trying to do things a little bit differently,” Douglas told Rolling Stone at the time. “We have to be really honest with each other and with the people we work with. We have to make sure how we feel is being heard.”

“It’s very important for everybody to speak up,” Quaresma added. “Don’t let anybody make you feel like you’re being a diva or you’re being dramatic.”
