Liam Gallagher expressed his typical disdain for Oasis’ nomination for the Rock Hall’s class of 2024 on social media. He called the Rock n Roll hall of fame “full of BUMBACLARTS” and criticized the awards, suggesting something fishy about them. He also dismissed fan votes, discouraged attending if Oasis wins, and took a jab at his brother and bandmate, Noel Gallagher. Noel had previously expressed his doubts about reuniting Oasis in an interview with Rolling Stone. Despite Liam’s humorous responses, he does acknowledge that Oasis deserves the nomination, even if he doesn’t think much of the honor.
The Class of 2024 nominees for the Rock Hall include Cher, Ozzy Osbourne, Sinéad O’Connor, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, Eric B. & Rakim, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Jane’s Addiction, Kool & the Gang, Lenny Kravitz, and A Tribe Called Quest. The winners will be announced in late April, and the ceremony will take place in Cleveland later in the year.
